Chromebook Scanner

I am really enjoying my new Chromebook but all has not been plain-sailing and one of the pitfalls has been the subject of scanning.

The only solutions at the moment are:

1. Purchase a 'Scan to Cloud' scanner
2. Purchase a scanner that can scan to a USB drive or SB drive and transfer on foot as-it-were.

CAUTION: Do not confuse 'Print to Cloud' with 'Scan to Cloud' as they are two separate features and, to date, few scanners or all-in-ones support it.
